- Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course - Public - 8301 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95832, (916)665-2020. This links-style course has large, undulating greens. The signature hole is #17, a 107-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to an island green.
- Bing Maloney Golf Course – Public - 6801 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822, (916)433-2283. This facility has two courses to play. The Eighteen Hole Course is a somewhat open and features a variety of trees lining all the fairways. The greens are medium in size and speed, and there is water that comes into play on a few holes. The Executive Course is short but not easy. The fairways are wide open, and the greens are small. Very little water comes into play on the Executive Course.
- Cordova Golf Course – Public - 9425 Jackson Rd, Sacramento, CA 95826, (916)362-1196. This course has ten par 3's, one par 5 and the rest are par 4's. There are two ponds that come into play on three holes. The course has fairway trees. The fairways are level, and some of the tee boxes being elevated. Some of the greens are raised a little with some undulation to them.
- Del Paso Country Club – Private - 3333 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821. This course has many trees and thick vegetation lining its fairways. It was built on rolling hills. There is one creek and one lake that come into play on six holes. This course has been redesigned several times.
- Haggin Oaks – Public - 3645 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821. This facility offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. These courses are a pleasant playing experience. The Alister Mackenzie Course has a lit driving range with 100 stalls. The Arcade Creek Course is a fair, lengthy course with large greens. The fairways are mostly flat and tree lined. The greens are well bunkered with sand. The Mackenzie Course has more character with more water, better greens, and better shape to it. There are five ponds that come into play on five holes not including the creek. There are a couple of mounds on each hole.
- Teal Bend – Public - 200 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95837. This course is nestled in the natural, rolling terrain of the Natomas area. Mature trees come into play on several holes. A difficult hole is #17, a 502-yard, par 5, featuring a fairway that doglegs right around a lake, and a well-bunkered green.
